Through prayer and reflection, music and meditation, we come together as one.

There is a special feeling that comes with Avodah (worship/prayer/service/spirituality) at Westchester Reform Temple. Our rabbis and cantors seamlessly weave together the words of the new Reform prayer book, Mishkan T’filah, with traditional and innovative music—which is at the heart of the WRT prayer experience. An ensemble of piano, guitar, bass, flute, and percussion combines with the uplifting voices of our clergy to create an unforgettable musical worship experience, one that draws on the entire history and global span of Jewish music.

Worship includes meditation and reflection, sermons, and Divrei Torah—wisdom drawn from the weekly Torah portion that is both interactive and educational, creative and inspirational. Our aim is to create a service that is both emotionally moving and intellectually stimulating, while also creating a sense of warmth and community for our members.
