Meditation Lab
Many of us are aware that mindfulness and meditation have become increasingly present in people’s lives a set of tools to navigate stress, increase calmness and clarity, and to promote joy.
We at WRT are excited to continue our Meditation Lab with Norm Goldstein. Norm will utilize his 25 years of training and experience in mindfulness meditation to support temple members to explore Jewish meditative techniques. While each of us continues to navigate our emotions and responses to the ongoing crisis in Israel and Gaza, we will also continue to use meditation as a way of creating more space in our hearts and minds.

Fall Talmud Shiur with Rabbi Jonathan E. Blake
Curious about the Talmud? Already a devotee of this popular study? Newcomers and veterans alike are eagerly welcomed to Rabbi Blake’s weekly learning session, where we unpack the mysteries and wisdom of Judaism’s greatest book, with spiritual and intellectual openness. This year we’ll explore Jewish life cycles: birth, death, and everything in between. All are welcome. No prior Hebrew/Talmud experience required.
Join the cantors for an evening of singing, sipping, and schmoozing! We’ll sing along to classic fold and popular songs by Amercian Jewish composers, highlighting the music of Carole King and Paul Simon.
WRT is proud to host the Westchester Jewish Council’s Afternoon of Music, a community-wide concert featuring cantors serving congregations throughout Westchester. This year’s concert program will highlight the original musical compositions of Jewish composers from Westchester County and is being co-chaired by our own Cantor Sonett-Assor.
